Every year, here at Infermedica, we listen to millions of patients globally through our AI-based product. One of our company’s essential segments, Medical Ontology, expands and ensures the quality of our medical knowledge base.
Responsibilities

Reviewing and adding symptoms and diseases - you will help build and improve our medical content by updating our database with new information on symptoms and diseases. With the support of experienced team members, you will ensure our content's accuracy and relevance

SNOMED CT coding

Analysing real patient data and customer feedback - you will analyse real patient data and customer feedback to continuously refine and adapt our medical content

Reviewing relations between concepts - you will learn how to build a comprehensive structure of medical concepts; this process will require both medical knowledge and eagerness to learn how to use OWL to model complex relations between them

Writing logical axioms in OWL, searching and adding scientific sources defining medical concepts such as diseases or symptoms

Peer-reviewing of concepts created by other editors

Problem-solving, discussions on medical channels
Role requirements
- You're a medical student
- You can dedicate around 40 hours a month and have your own computer to work from
- You have a solid grasp of basic statistical and epidemiological concepts

You're comfortable reading and discussing medical literature both in English and Polish (B2 level or above)
- You're eager to become an expert in searching, selecting, and analyzing scientific sources
- You have a detail-oriented mind and enjoy working through abstract problems
- You're genuinely excited to grow in ways that go beyond clinical skills
