Brief introduction
For years, we’ve dreamt of a time when patients could manage their health directly from their homes instead of crowded clinics and hospital beds. At the same time, we’ve watched healthcare lag behind other industries (eg. banking, insurance, and travel) in terms of accessibility and user experience. Then COVID-19 came along and greatly accelerated innovations in virtual care tools, making them part of the new normal. With an ever-growing list of digital entry points—including symptom checkers, triage tools, telehealth, and patient portals—comes new opportunities to engage patients and optimize how they access healthcare services.
In this webinar, Adam Walker, Senior Product Management Lead at Microsoft; Sailaja Vishnubhotla, Director of Product Management at Walgreens; and Roberto Sicconi, Chief Scientific Officer and Co-Founder at Infermedica, discuss how organizations can facilitate digital entry points for patients (the "digital front door"), thereby improving patient journeys, access, outcomes, and healthcare costs.
