About Infermedica

At Infermedica, we develop AI-driven apps that allow insurance, healthcare and pharmaceutical companies to pre-diagnose, triage, and connect patients with the appropriate medical services. We are on a bold mission to guide every patient to the right care.

Every day we work on some of the most exciting challenges in the healthcare industry: using artificial intelligence (AI) in medical diagnosis, and natural language processing (NLP) in chat-bots and voice assistants. Our core technology is science-driven and built on the firm foundation of the latest medical papers and internal research.

We are known for our outstanding products and customer service experience. Since 2012, we’ve helped companies from all over the world increase efficiency, improve patient flow and reduce costs.

Your role

The Delivery team is responsible for adapting Infermedica’s products to the unique needs of each client. We solve clients’ problems and make sure that companies such as PZU, Allianz and Everyday Health obtain quality solutions when they need them. We are also working on a number of internal projects, such as the Symptomate.com and Infermedica.com websites.

As a Junior Full Stack Developer, you will fork our apps, customize their styles, update content, and build new features from scratch. Most of the time this will require front-end development, but you will handle some back-end tasks too.

Our technology stack consists mainly of JavaScript (ES6), Python and popular frameworks such as Vue.js and Django. You will also have the opportunity to learn more about Docker, PostgreSQL, Sass, Jenkins and many other tools and technologies used in modern software development.

You will work side-by-side with other engineers and teams, first to collect the requirements, and then to deliver robust and useful products. Throughout the process, you will receive deliberate feedback and constant support from other team members, because we love to work together to find the best solutions.
