Job description

Your team
You’ll be joining our MetaBase team. The team is responsible for the products used by our teams to curate, test, and maintain our medical knowledge base and inference engine - our differentiator and competitive moat. You’ll be collaborating with a cross-functional team of product designers, developers, QAs, data scientists, and more, as well as a wide range of internal stakeholders.
Our technology stack includes Python, Django, Django Rest Framework, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and Terraform. We are in the process of migrating the application to Docker-based deployments on Google Cloud.


  • 5+ years of experience building great products for the web.
  • Mastery of Python and at least one framework: Django, Flask or FastAPI
  • Software craftsmanship mindset
  • Experience in writing optimized, efficient, and modular code.
  • Experience with enterprise architecture patterns
  • Experience with distributed systems
  • Ability to communicate in English and Polish (both written and spoken). 
  • It would be even better if you have

  • Knowledge of  asynchronous Python, event-driven programming, Clean Architecture, and Design Patterns
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Jira.
  • Demonstrated use of best practices (CI/CD, TDD, Code Reviews, Git).
  • Experience with Docker and GCP
  • Experience with GitOps and IaC methodologies
  • Next Steps

    Interview steps:
    1. A short call with selected candidates. It would take about 1 hour.
    2. Next, two interviews are planned. Technical interview with Development team members and interview with Head of Development or Product Owner to better understand your experience, expectations, and motivation. This would be done remotely and could take about 2 hours in total.
    3. Once you have passed all of these steps, we’d be more than happy to have you on board!
